Recently WoW reached the 11.5 million player mark. It's really surprising how a game like WoW can get so much players. It has it's good points but it's not worth playing.Graphics
People say WoW has nice GFX. At least better than other RPG's. Switch to consoles I would say. It's way better. And there is a bigger variety of games.
Subscription
What I also don't understand is why you have to pay 15 dollars a month. The PS3 has free online gaming and the Xbox 360 costs 5 euros or 3 dollars a month. And it's not even limited to just one game. You can play hundreds of games for that small amount.
Storyline
The last thing I hate about WoW is that it has no storyline. You just go out there and kill some monsters. Good creatures kill evil creatures. That's it. There also isn't a singleplayer mode which you can play if you don't want MP or don't have internet.
If you have WoW, throw it out the window. If you don't, don't even look at it when you're about to buy a game.

ReplyDeleteWoW is made up of many storylines. You just have to take the time to read the quests. Most in WotLK are pretty deep chain quests.

I'm pretty sure people play it because it is fun. I mean, if you have fun playing it, then what's the big deal? Doing something that you enjoy is a big factor in enjoying your own life. Playing video games, such as this one, is no better than doing other recreational activities such as watching those retarded shows on TV, knitting, reading, etc.
I understand that if this game is more important than sleeping, working, studying, or spending time with family and friends, then it can be a time Easter, but if you play it in moderation, then it isn't much of a problem.
And the reason why people pay $15 a month for this game is because it's not like other video games, this game undergoes new content being installed nearly every month. His many games do you know of that get updated that frequently with new content?
I'd say it's better than spending $65 on a game that you beat in 2 days, And barely play multiplayer.
And what's the big deal if other people play it? It's their life, not yours, so let them do what makes them happy.
