How to: Save money as a teen

So you're a teen. You need games, expensive clothes, cheap DVDs and more. But the problem is you only get 50 bucks a month (or whatever you really get). How are you going to get everything? Well just read this and you'll save money definitely.

1. Don't buy games or DVDs in a store. They're quite expensive. Here in the Netherlands a PlayStation 3 game is almost €70 ($90).

2. After tip no. 1 you're probably thinking: "Where should I buy it then?". Well here's the answer: eBay! You'll really be surprised when you check it out. New games, sealed, for $20. And they're brand new! The only thing you have to do is make an account at PayPal to pay at eBay. Both sites are free (for buying at least).

**I'm not talking about the auctions, but the "Buy Now" thingies. You can buy them directly instead of placing a bid.

3. If you're looking to buy some clothes, be sure to check if there are any sales. Not only cheap brands are on sale you know!

4. Buy your winter clothes in the summer. They will probably be a lot cheaper. And trust me, they won't be 'old' by winter...

5. Always put 10% of your pocket money or salary in your bank account. Don't spend it unles you really really need it. Eventually you'll have enough money to buy that new gaming console that is coming out the next day, instead of waiting until you have enough money.

I hope these tips will help you, like they helped me. I'm probably not the first one to 'invent' thes tips but they do really work!
