Top 3: Stephen King's Horror Movies

If you say the name Stephen King you'll definitely remember his horror movies. However there are non-horror movies based on the novels by King. The Shawshank Redemption is a very good example of that. But right now I want to talk about the horror movies.

3. Misery
Misery is not exactly a horror movie. It is more a thriller. The story is about a writer who has an accident. He is then rescued by one of his biggest fans. She says she is his No. 1 fan... But the writer gets into a lot of trouble.

This movie will really creep you out. Not because you see bodies being cut open and blood all over the place, but by what the people do and think.

Anyway, I liked the movie. I'll give it 7 out of 10.

2. Pet Sematary
This is another very good movie. In the beginning I didn't quite get the story, but as the movie went on it became better and better.

The story is about a family who moves into a house. Close to the house there is a pet cemetary called Pet Sematary. There are stories about this place. Something bad happens in the story and shit happens.

The end is really amazing. It was like, nice it worked... NOT! There is a Pet Sematary too, but I haven't seen it. It seems pretty crappy to me. So I wouldn't recommend it to you.

I would give this movie 8 out of 10 points. The two points are for the rather strange beginning of the story.

1. The Shining
The Shining is the best Stephen King horror movie. At least I like to think so. It's awesome! Perfect! Superb! I would really advise you to watch this movie, if you're a horror movie fan.

The story starts with a man who goes to apply for a job at a hotel. He gets the job and meets another person who is working there. That man turns out to have a ability. It's in his family he says. That man also tells him some things about the hotel and what he shouldn't do...

The Shining has some nice supernatural elements. I won't spoil it for you, but it's the standard stuff, at least the ability itself. But it's used pretty good.
